Dr. Cruickshank is a consultant neurosurgeon specialising in spine surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques.
She treats a full range of brain and spine conditions including tumours, hydrocephalus, trauma, degenerative spine disease, complex spine reconstruction and pain management. She trained in neurosurgery at the University of the West Indies, Mona, and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, where she also completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery, before specialising in endoscopic spine surgery in Germany. In February 2025 she performed the first fully endoscopic spine surgery in Trinidad and Tobago.

Dr. Cruickshank works alongside the physicians who know their patients best. Referrals are welcome from across Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean, with imaging reviewed before any patient needs to travel.
